Yak Wool: WY
Yak wool is obtained from the yak, a cattle species predominantly from Central Asia, and is one of the animal fibers. The fur of the Yak is multi-layered. Once a year, the under hair is combed out. Only 300-500g per animal can be used for fiber production. Yak cattle live mainly in Central Asia. Because of the exclusiveness of their wool it is called noble hair.
